Jakarta Gentra.co.id – National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and related parties directly observed the location of the main fire at the Pertamina Plumpang Depot, North Jakarta.
In this case, Sigit ensured that a joint investigation team from the National Police and related parties would investigate the initial causes of the fire at the Pertamina Depot.
“Just now we, together with the team of the regional police chief, the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency, and a joint investigation team accompanied by Pertamina colleagues conducted an initial check at the TKP,” said Sigit at the Pertamina Plumpang Depot, Saturday, March 4, 2023.
From the initial responses and reports he received, Sigit revealed that the fire incident occurred at around 20.00 WIB. Initially, said Sigit, at that location they were refueling Pertamax type oil, which was sent from Balongan.
During charging, according to Sigit, from the initial information he received, a technical problem occurred which resulted in excessive pressure. After that, there was a fire incident.
Even so, Sigit was under pressure, the joint investigation team would still continue to carry out in-depth investigations regarding the initial source of fire at the incident location.
“Of course to find out where the source of the fire came from, this is being investigated by the team,” said Sigit.
Going deeper, said Sigit, the joint investigation team conducted an in-depth examination by asking several witnesses to examine CCTV.
By carrying out a comprehensive investigation, said Sigit, the joint investigation team will carry out the verification process with the Scientific Crime Investigation (SCI).
“Currently, we are collecting witnesses, CCTV, then the things we need are of a technical nature. So that later we can explain in a Scientific Crime Investigation the actual events. Specifically regarding the source of the fire that led to the fire,” said Sigit.
