Gentra News Bali – Pangdam IX/Udayana Mayjen TNI Harfendi, S.I.P., M.Sc., along with a group of work visits to the Singaraja region in order to attend an online interactive dialogue of the National Movement for Food Resilience of the TNI Level 2023 with the theme “TNI Patriot NKRI Guardians of Democracy for Advanced Indonesia” together with Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Ma’ruf Amin, Commander of TNI Admiral Yudo Margono, Kapolri General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman, on Wednesday (1/11/2023) at the Pilot Project for Customized Food Resistance of Bandeng Kodim 1609/Buleleng Village Patas, Garokgak, Buleleng District.
The implementation of the interactive dialogue activities of the National Movement for Food Sustainability is centered in Pancasila Cibitung West Java Park. The interactive dialogues began with the greeting of the Vice President, whose essence is to communicate that today we kick off the national movement for food sustainability. “We optimize sleeping land to be productive; together with TNI, we optimize food resilience as a military operation apart from war so that no land sleeps under the shadow of TNI,” the Vice President insisted.
Subsequently, the Vice President of RI presented the Padi seed to the Tani Group in symbolic terms: the revision of the fruit garden, avocado, cattle, and fish seed spread, and the review of the exhibition stand.
On the occasion, the Commander of TNI stated in his greeting that the activities of the National Movement for Food Sustainability across the territory of Indonesia, comprising 483 locations, are carried out by the National Army of Indonesia, the Army, Navy, and Air Force. This movement aims to improve the well-being of the people.
The commander of TNI expressed his gratitude for the good conduct of this activity and hoped that all parties could implement the National Movement for Food Sustainability, supported by the Ministry of Agriculture.
The event was also filled with gifts to the community of Wanajaya and its surroundings from the National Food Agency, the Logistics Affairs Agency and the Indonesian National Army as well as the distribution of agricultural equipment by the Minister of Agriculture of RI while on the same occasion Pangdam IX/Udayana also handed over help to the people in the village of Patas, Grogak district.
